Balkan Insight: The remains of a 2,100-year-old Roman ship have been discovered off the Karaburun Peninsula in Albania’s southern coast by archaeologists. A research team comprised of Albanian and US archaeologists found the wreckage this week at a depth of 50 metres and believe it dates to between the second and first century BC.
