Roman settlement reconstruction provides a picture of the past

Past Horizons: "The artist’s impression below shows how a settlement first unearthed over two years ago, near Brougham, north-west England might have looked in its heyday around AD220. The illustration is based on the remains of the buildings that were found during the excavation by Oxford Archaeology North."
